Alexander Lunev - The Precursor Of New-Wave Music


Alexander Lunev is a rising star of the music industry and is one of today's most talented, versatile and consistent hit composers. Dari hari ke hari kita ngeblog mungkin Anda sering menemukan istilah NoFollow dan DoFollow. Apa arti dari istilah itu? dalam tulisan ini saya akan kupas tuntas kedua istilah tersebut dalam bahasa yang ringan dan sederhana.

Sedikit Cerita Dibalik Munculnya Istilah NoFollow

Sebelum tahun 2005 disaat Blogger.com atau Blogspot mulai ngetop sebagai media blog paling banyak digunakan oleh sebagian besar blogger untuk ngeblog kedua istilah tersebut tidak pernah terdengar sama sekali. Hal ini justru berkembang pasca dunia blog mulai berkembang sejak saat itu.

Dikatakan sebuah blog apabila sebuah halaman website atau personal homepage (istilah zaman dulu) untuk orang-orang yang memiliki halaman website pribadi untuk menuliskan banyak hal di internet. Saat itu kita kebanyakan menggunakan media buku tamu untuk dapat berinteraksi, memberikan komentar dan bertanya. Dari istilahnya saja sudah salah kaprah yaitu buku tamu (guest book). Sejak adanya Blogspot maka muncul metode baru dalam melakukan interaksi dalam berekspresi mengungkapkan sesuatu melalui media yang namanya blog.

Setelah platform Blogspot keluar mulai banyak bermunculan media blog lain seperti TypePad, Live Journal, WordPress dan lain sebagainya dan mulailah dunia per- blog-an (blogosphere) booming didunia maya. Mulai banyak orang melakukan interaksi dalam setiap halaman blog yang dimiliki oleh orang lain, sampai-sampai bukan manusiapun ikut-ikutan nimbrung, siapa itu? dia adalah bot spam. Bot spam adalah sebuah program komputer yang menjalankan perintah yang telah diprogram untuk melakukan spam. Spam pertama kali terkenal untuk istilah pada e-mail, forum diskusi dan akhirnya sampailah juga di ranah blog.

Sejak Google menjadi search engine nomor satu hingga saat ini mulailah muncul istilah Page Rank (PR). PR adalah ukuran atau level atau tingkatan kepopuleran sebuah halaman web baik itu website maupun blog. Google dan juga search engine lain seperti Yahoo dan Bing melakukan kalkulasi PR menggunakan keterkaitan antara satu halaman web dan halaman web yang lain atau blog satu dan blog kedua. Semakin banyak tautan (link) yang terjadi antara halaman- halaman web tersebut maka akan dikalkulasikan oleh mesin pencari tersebut. Nah disinilah mulai munculnya masalah, yaitu tidak validnya dan tidak benarnya mesin pencari tersebut dalam melakukan penilaian.

Apa saja penilaian mesin pencari seperti Google untuk merubah sebuah PR dari blog kita? inilah rahasia terbesar dari mesin cari tersebut. Google sendiri tidak pernah merilis dalam bentuk apapun dari bagaimana mereka melakukannya, ya namanya juga rahasia tentunya wajar saja mereka tidak mau mengungkapkan itu secara umum. Tetapi dalam banyak seminar dan tertulis di blog resmi Google sendiri menyatakan bahwa salah satu hal yang terpenting adalah kesamaan dari topik yang berkenaan. Artinya hanyalah blog-blog yang sejenis yang akan mereka nilai memiliki peringkat yang khusus sedangkan untuk blog yang tidak berkaitan sama sekali dengan blog kita misalkan tidak akan mendapatkan penilaian khusus dari mereka.

Sedikit cerita tersebut yang menjadikan banyak orang mulai melakukan spam pada komentar yang mereka tinggalkan di blog dan asiknya semua berformat DoFollow. Ini berarti apapun tautan yang mereka letakkan disana akan dinilai oleh Google sebagai sebuah parameter penting untuk meningkatkan PR. Sudah paham sekarang? karena semakin banyak tautan menuju blog kita maka semakin diperhitungkan oleh Google bahwa blog kita adalah “penting” untuk dinilai, alhasil PR kita akan naik sendirinya.

Spam Bermunculan

Gerah akan ulah orang-orang yang melakukan hal tersebut ditambah lagi bot spam ikut berperan maka Google, Yahoo dan Bing serta beberapa mesin cari lain sepakat untuk menerapkan standar baru dalam format perletakkan link atau tautan tersebut baik dalam bentuk komentar dan bentuk-bentuk lainnya.

Format DoFollow sebetulnya muncul karena adanya istilah NoDollow sejak munculnya masalah tersebut. Sehingga hal ini tidak lagi memudahkan orang melakukan spam, walaupun spam tetap ada tapi tautan mereka tidak akan lagi dihitung sebagai hal yang “ berharga” sebagai parameter perhitungan PR.

Sekedar informasi khusus bahwa format ini memang diletakkan pada tag HTML namun kode ini sendiri tidaklah termasuk kode HTML yang standar, sehingga W3C sebagai lembaga yang bertanggungjawab terhadap bahasa HTML tidak pernah merilis kode ini. Kode ini hanyalah digunakan oleh semua mesin pencari seperti Google, Yahoo, Bing dan lainnya untuk melakukan perhitungan analisa terhadap sebuah tautan.
